MED-ENG Avenger Robot

The MedEng Avenger Robot is an entirely new bomb disposal and tactical robot that has been engineered to provide police and military response teams with enhanced capabilities to manage ongoing and emerging threats posed by terrorists, particularly in cities where Vehicle-Borne Improvised Explosive Devices and CBRNe threats are of concern. This new mid-sized robot has all of the capabilities of a larger ROV; the Avenger's arm and claw offers 7 degrees of freedom, has excellent lifting capabilties, and can even reach over/under vehicles to investigate suspicious devices (like IEDs). Its mounting system makes it easy for operators to grasp a target or deploy X-Ray systems, disruptors, sensors and other EOD tools. The Avenger's new gearing and track subsystems allow it to operate in the toughest terrains like sand, mud, gravel, snow, and shallow water and still successfully complete its mission.
